Max Irwin

Prior to joining OSC, Max Irwin directed the Search Center of Excellence at Wolters Kluwer, where he managed a highly skilled team of 12 search technology engineers. Max has over 18 years of professional technical and leadership experience. He has a deep focus in search technology, web solutions, content management, machine learning, and their research applications in healthcare, law, tax, and regulatory compliance.

Previously Max worked as a development manager at MediRegs, where he led the development of search, content management, and coding compliance solutions. He also served as Technical Director at Softscape and was the founder of an early web consulting firm CoolRiver. Involved with technology from an early age, he has been programming since the age of 7. While earning a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from SUNY Albany, he had several internships pioneering early web technologies.
